Update from ConceptWorld

Hi everybody, sorry to keep you without update for so long but I'd been really, really busy recently. So There are some news about the group :

The main one is, that as some of you already know that I become the new Founder of Concept World. Some of you it maybe be curious how the hell that happen, believe me if I'm telling that I'm quite surprise ass you...but it happen. This will put on my head some more responsibility and that mean more effort, but I'll try my best to improve the experience of the group.

The second is that I decide to upgrade the group into a Super group....what the hell it does it mean ? Basically nothing, it just give more freedom to play with layout, rename admin class and organize better the whole things. Personally I think that the group works perfectly as it is. Is clean, nice and really straight forward, but I'm open on any suggestions, so if you feel that something can be update in a better way, we can discus about it. Just have some patient with me, I'm kinda newb with all this stuff, so please be merciful if I don't do thing at the speed of the light.

I rename some of the member roles. So this is a part that maybe deserve a better explanation, specially for the Admin. The role are pretty much the same, but I would like to give more importance to the structure.  In general the vote section need 2 vote to approve artworks. A lot of time it happen that some submissions expire because no one vote. Usually it happen for different reason, but, mostly is because some people buzzed to vote hesitating on a decision. To avoid any further problem, I decide to nominate theVote Master as the one that lead the voting section to a right choice. So all the Seasonal Mod  that feel insecure during the vote, consider theVote Master vote as a strong reference for the voting. Of course this is not a dictatorship, every one it's free to vote wherever it please. Consider more as a guideline to ensure the quality of the artwork in the gallery.
How we choose the Vote Master. Well We have different criteria :

One the experience. you've in the field, some MOD that feel that can cover the role, because they feel and they show, during those years that can do it are really welcomed to drop me to discus the updating.

The frequency of the vote is another important things. Please vote all the time you can ! We need to keep the picture flow constant, to have an update gallery and because your vote have some weight, it's important you do it. I'm sure it doesn't take you so long to do a super simple thing like vote a pic. Is note necessary go to check the vote section every 10 min, you can vote only once in a week.  Every one can dedicate 5 min a week to do it, we're not asking the moon.

Your level. Of course this is one of the main criteria. If you're a Pro, it's pretty logic that you've develop a sort of aesthetic sense and an eye for quality. So usually Pro level artist have a preference lane to be pick as VOTE MASTER, but this doesn't mean that they can't be discharge from this position.
REALLY IMPORTANT : we're trying to keep the quality of the gallery high, this doesn't mean that you need to vote NO to every picture that it's not a SUPER, HIGH, GREAT, HYPE, MAGIC THE GATHERING, ANTHONY JONES ( whit all the respect for Anthony Jones, that is one of my fave artist ) work. You need to Judge the quality of the Job considering different aspect ad the idea and how this idea is transmit to the audience.
I wont discus now the way how we judge the works you submit now. I'll do another tread for this. Anyway this bring me up to the next point.

Critical.As some of you know one of the main clue of this group is help artist to improve...more or less the same things that also other platform as Crimson Dagger and Concept art already does. But I really believe that the forum format it's quite messy. So I decide to give another asset to be used for all the one that need a little help with their work.
This service is totally for free, and so far I think is one of the few group around that provide such thing. That is because we believe mutual help and in the artistic environment. Of course this thing need a little bit of structure, So far we are really in few that can give critique and believe me It's a really time consuming things...so feel free to ask, but please don't go mad if you don't receive a reply straight away. Well try our best to give you a full critique, but be patience.
So I create a new class, that id dedicate to this task. it's called The critics. If you want enjoy this role consider this : Its really a really demanding and hard role, but if you think you've the quality and most important the time to dedicate for help someone, feel free to drop me a line and I'll give you this role.

Ok last point, I'll be really straight forward : WE NEED YOU...in this moment the group is suffering a little lack of staff. If you want join as a Admin, just contact me, and I'll decide how and what kind of role it'll suit you better. Please write me a little introduction, It's a huge help to understand to how I'm talking to .

Remember,  we do really care about our members,  so if you want enjoy just to play the part of the crazy narcissist, spare me the time to include in our Admin section. I rather have a humble and inexpert folk than a F**king crazy King of the Hill. Sorry, everyone  for the lase part, but I've been trough a lot of time with similar experience
