Creature Feature Contest, 1 Year Sub' to be won!

Hey Concepteez,

Welcome to the 31st Concept World Contest, the Admins have been cooking up something special behind the scenes, now we're going to share it with you; it's time for a Creature Feature!  

The Contest is to create an image for the new cover of the latest issue of Concepteez Magazine, and as such has extra bonus prizes such as a 1 Year Subscription to Deviantart.com.

The theme for this round will be: Cover Design; 'Creature'.  

If you have suggestions for the theme, feel free to join us on Facebook as an alternative method of sharing your ideas.  www.facebook.com/concepteez or post your suggestions in a comment below.

The winner and the contenders will see their work featured in our next Concepteez's issue. Make sure your work is of a high standard (a4 size) and save wip shots to be qualified.

The Winner will be Featured on the cover, Runners up will be Featured and all entries that make it to the polls will have their thumbnails in the magazine.

You all have 3 weeks from now to finish your entry. There is a timer on the front page which counts down this contest so you don't need to ask us about the time zones, just work it out from the timer.

Contest 31

You are allowed to add facts of your own but you must have the basic requirements (Has to be a Creature-based piece).

Please add a small description in your entries stating that it is made for this competition so we know its not an old piece.

Also add:

    Software used
    Time taken
    Add a link to wip file if you've managed to grab some screen shots of the process, similar to kuroi-tsuki.deviantart.com/art… and kuroi-tsuki.deviantart.com/art…
    You can also add our logo by pasting :iconConceptWorld (add another : to the end) into your description.

Rules

You MUST use the template posted here; img856.imageshack.us/img856/59… or you will be disqualified.

You can use any piece of software and the entry can be 2d or 3d concept.
Submit your entry to "Weekly Challenge".
You can only submit one entry so do make it count.
Please make it relevant to the theme otherwise you will be disqualified from the public poll.
The folder will be blocked for submission after the deadline so try and leave some time to submit your work.
To make your work future proof try to make your canvases close to HD resolution (if your computer can cope with it).
If you have a 3D entry you must provide wire frames to prove the fact that it is 3D modelled. You can either link to the wire frames, or you can upload your designs in this format: gdsworld.deviantart.com/art/Je…

Judging

Entries will be sorted by admins and we'll pick the top 10 entries after which a member poll will decide the winner.
*The admin team has the right to disqualify any entry if it doesn't meet our requirements. Winning the poll will not guarantee you 1st place.

Prize
  
   The Winning Entry will not only be on the newest cover of Concepteez, but will also recieve a 1 Year Subscription to Deviantart.com!
   You will be featured on our main page (a 640x480px image) for a whole week.
    The winner will also be featured in our Featured folder, along with all the other glories you get from being a winner it'll be a great learning curve and you'll also receive a mention in the next blog.
    You may also be featured in Concepteez's next issue.

Changes for the New Year


Our Founder Gd and Gallery mod Bwana started off our big speed painting event with a bang, we had 40 entries in all; We plan to be hosting another round soon. Keep an eye out for the next event news.
We can't wait until the next one!
There are a few other changes in the works, it's going to be a fantastic year - so keep your eyes peeled, they're crafty these Admins!
